Cannabis Popularity Keeps Growing in Florida

Although the use of cannabis in Florida is still restricted to only medical marijuana card holders, the popularity of weed keeps on growing. Florida likely has the fastest- growing medical marijuana program in the nation.

With advances in studies how CBD & cannabis can help with pain, or even with opioids addictions, there are so many uses for the legalization not only for medical cannabis patients, but also for recreational use of weed.

The growth in cannabis dispensaries can be expected through the new approved licenses from 14 to 22: (news link)

Florida’s medical cannabis marketplace is set to see a significant boost in the number of businesses that can operate in the state as regulators approved licenses for eight more firms in addition to the 14 existing MMJ operators.

The Marijuana industry in Florida is projected to generate more than $2.5 billion in annual revenue within five years. The appeal for law makers to get a large increase in tax revenue cannot be denied.
