Don’t expect to make the happiest place on earth even more fun with cannabis or CBD. At the mandatory bag check you risk to be arrested if you get caught with some CBD. If that is not even allowed, don’t expect to walk in with some cannabis or a big fat blunt or a baggy of weed.
A 69-year-old woman from North Carolina looking to enjoy a magical trip to Walt Disney World with her family was arrested in front of Magic Kingdom after being in possession of CBD oil, which was recommended to her by a North Carolina doctor.
Although CBD generally doesn’t contain any THC, the component in marijuana which makes you high, the woman was arrested for carrying the CBD in her purse with the intention taking it into the amusement park. According to sources; when the police tested the CBD on THC, they found that it did come back positive for THC.
According to state law, any CBD is illegal in the state of Florida unless you have a prescription. Once a recently passed hemp bill is signed into law, CBD oil will become legal in the state of Florida. This will allow state residents to legally use the product anywhere, including the Florida theme parks, such as those found at Walt Disney World.
Seems like the lady was too early this year to bring her CBD into Walt Disney World.
